cat README.md
Relocation calculator for Dubai. Works out what a household would actually spend each month and how much cash it needs to land safely, then turns both into a single verdict on whether the move adds up.
cat features.txt
•
Monthly budget across 10 expense categories (rent, utilities, district cooling, groceries, eating out, transport, childcare, gym, nights out, phone) plus a percentage buffer row, with categories appearing conditionally based on household setup
•
Arrival runway analysis computing how many months a household survives given the opening-rent cheque frequency (1/2/4/6/12 per year), modelling the rent-free months the first cheque buys before full burn begins
•
Upfront arrival costs modelled separately: first cheque, security deposit, agent fee, DEWA deposit, furniture, visa, and buffer
•
ActiveModel input layer (no DB table) with conditional validators keyed on transport mode and whether bills are included
•
Four-tier verdict scoring from "Dubai is calling" to "Over budget", with percentage savings interpolated into each result
•
Currency display across 7 currencies via configurable static rates
cat outcomes.log
